Requirements
- 5+ years ASO experience
- A deep understanding of app store algorithms, optimization methods, and effective strategies for improving app stores performance and growing app installs in the mobile gaming industry (must have)
- Experience working with and managing relationships with ASO partner tools such as AppTweak, Sensor Tower, Data.ai, etc
- Experience driving big-picture strategy and execution to support a scaling ASO team
- Very strong interpersonal skills, including building relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams in remote locations, and with external vendors
- Excellent sense of accountability and ownership. High level of attention to detail with a proactive, hands-on mentality
- Comfortable with project management, working within fast-paced environments, and delivering on multiple simultaneous project
Responsibilities
- Implement the A/B testing strategy from beginning to end, building a roadmap and hypothesis, briefing and providing feedback on creative assets, applying tests, analyzing and communicating results, and closely monitoring the long-term impact on the stores
- Implement the textual metadata optimization strategy for all the markets: from keyword research to keyword analysis and localization
- Establish and continuously evolving ASO best practices
- Identify games in the portfolio with the highest need for ASO. Undertake ad-hoc research, analysis, and audits for a selection of new titles
- Work alongside the UA team to ensure a consistent user funnel from ad impression to install. Work closely with the Creatives team to brief and provide feedback on app store assets
- Maintain a concise and organized database of ASO results and learnings to share with the broader organization, using this data to inform future strategy
