This role serves as a key collaborator between Health Plan Clients, Health Plan Sales Teams, and internal Virta stakeholders. You will manage sales strategies, foster Health Plan ASO partnerships, empower Health Plan sales teams, and serve as a subject matter expert for Virta. The position involves executing commercialization efforts and leveraging Virta's clinical rigor and outcomes. Within 90 days, you will become an expert in your Health Plan Partner book of business, collaborate on strategic plans, and execute the business plan to drive ASO group sales. Requirements
- 3+ years experience in healthcare or healthcare-related field
- Understanding of selling through partnerships
- Quantifiable history of meeting or exceeding sales targets or OKRs
- Ability to present clearly to key decision makers
- Consultative selling experience, including collaboration with an indirect sales team
- Ability to proactively manage pipeline and willingness to leverage Salesforce in a strategic data-driven approach
- Demonstrated collaboration with internal colleagues (marketing, product, ops, etc.) to support sales momentum
- A passion for improving the health of millions of people with the ability to thrive in a mature startup environment
Responsibilities
- Manage the sales strategy for a book of Health Plan business, maintaining collaboration on co-selling opportunities and tracking KPIs to demonstrate success
- Foster Health Plan ASO Partnership relationships and drive Virta awareness within their organization (promote Virtaโs latest studies, accomplishments, news cycles)
- Empower the Health Plan sales teams to sell Virta (Provide regular training, sales enablement and marketing materials)
- Establish regular touchpoints with the Health Planโs sales leaders (plan team trainings, 1:1s, in person events)
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Virta to our key Health Plan contacts for education, content, marketing, legal, and Q&A
- Work closely with Vitraโs Health Plan Sales and Customer Success team members to provide feedback and expose potential service expansions to better meet the needs of our clients
- Become an expert in your Health Plan Partner book of business
- Collaborate on strategic plan with cross functional teams - Customer Success, Marketing, Sales
- Begin executing the business plan for success by engaging with Health Plan partners and drive ASO group sales
- Focus on execution with Health Plan partner book of business at scale
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Type 2 diabetes and of potential competitors
- Knowledge of weight loss vendors and dynamics of GLP-1 weight loss drugs
- Knowledge of other health care point solutions beyond diabetes
- Experience in marketing / sales-enablement
