Summary

This Multifamily Enterprise Risk Senior Associate role is a flexible hybrid position, allowing work from Washington, DC or Plano, TX offices. You will assist with oversight of the Multifamily business, review and monitor activities, perform file reviews to evaluate risks, document findings, build relationships, and partner with stakeholders to ensure success. The role offers opportunities to impact the future of the housing industry while being part of an inclusive team. Requirements
- 2 years of related experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Assist with oversight of the Multifamily business
- Review and monitor Multifamily pre-acquisition, pricing, or portfolio activities and trends
- Perform on-going file reviews to identify and evaluate the risks to Multifamily of new transactions and/or portfolio management activities and business decisions
- Document and present findings and/or conclusions of analysis to key stakeholders and senior management in a thoughtful and persuasive manner
- Build strong relationships across Multifamily and the Enterprise
- Partner with Multifamily and other stakeholders to carry out business strategies that will drive success and ensure safety and soundness in the face of shifting market conditions and regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the multifamily real estate industry
- Prior experience performing financial and trend analysis and reporting findings
- Prior experience with credit risk, loan quality analysis, compliance monitoring, or risk assessment and risk management
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Advanced Excel skills
- Multifamily or commercial real estate underwriting experience
- Experience with GSE lending
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
