Summary

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience as a Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management and Jira Product Discovery Administrator
  • 3+ years of relevant experience as an Atlassian Cloud Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and Jira Product Discovery is mandatory
  • Relevant experience in Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management and Jira Product Discovery administration, including user management, permissions, and workflows
  • Experience with development, including JQL, REST APIs, Groovy Scripting
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence plugins and add-ons
  • Ability to provide training and support to users with varying levels of technical proficiency
  • Experience with various plugins such as Scriptrunner, Rich Filters and easyBI etc
  • Experience with Forge Development

Responsibilities

  • Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Jira cloud instances, and other Atlassian products including: Confluence, Access/Guard, Product Discovery, and various plugins
  • Drive innovation on how work is performed using Jira
  • Create custom Jira projects, complex workflows and permission schemes
  • Create standard operating procedure documentation
  • Provide formal and informal training to Jira users
  • Identify, test and recommend new plugins to meet project requirements
  • Define access permission schemes for HashiCorp users
  • Align Jira with TPM processes and standards (Waterfall, Agile and Kanban)
  • Troubleshoot application issues and add-on integration issues in Jira and Confluence working with Atlassian support
  • Participate in requirements gathering for business processes, and determine ways to optimize/improve Jira setup and workflows, as well as identify where functionality can/cannot meet user requests
  • Develop metrics dashboards and advanced filters in Jira to provide end-users and business leadership with meaningful operational/performance metrics and status reports
  • Provide User Management and support for users, manage system access across groups to ensure compliance, and maintain best practices
  • Create and manage security schemes, custom fields and configurations
  • Install, manage and administer Jira add-ons, plugins, and extensions
  • Providing assistance in the management and support of integrations between tools in the development landscape, including: Jira, Confluence, Access, GitHub, etc
