Senior Behavioral Science Researcher

Summary

The job is for a full-time behavioral scientist on a Federal government contract, with the main duty being research and analysis in emergency management and preparedness. The position can be office-based or telework, with occasional travel. The candidate should have a PhD, 10 years' experience, and be a US citizen.

Requirements

• PhD in Behavioral Science or comparable degree
• Minimum of 10 years applicable experience
• US Citizen
• Ability to handle information confidentially

Responsibilities

Designing and conducting research, analysis, survey design, data collection, report and briefing generation, and related activities to assist in enhancing the capability and resiliency of citizens and communities in the area of emergency management and preparedness

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge and understanding of Federal emergency management and homeland security programs
• Experience in supporting Federal programs to enhance citizen engagement
