Summary
Join Dynatron Software as a Sr. Business Analyst in this crucial hybrid role, blending business analysis with project coordination. You will maintain and enhance multiple applications and processes, ensuring system health through data analysis, feature prioritization, and implementation. Acting as a liaison between business and technology teams, you will translate business needs into actionable requirements. Collaborate with various departments and engineering partners to gather and prioritize application and stakeholder requirements, ultimately delivering successfully prioritized features. This is a remote independent contractor position with a 12-month contract, offering 24 days of paid time off and a compensation range of $35,000 USD.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst utilizing project methodologies to drive timelines
- Strong experience and knowledge of business requirement documentation creation and management
- Hands on experience coordinating and performing UAT testing
- Experience with process engineering methodologies (As-Is and To-Be process mapping)
- Experience with Agile and scrum methodologies
- Strong documentation and communication skills for multi-stakeholder alignment, simplifying complex analysis through compelling storytelling, and producing high-quality documentation
- Ability to synthesize business pain points and people/process/technology issues to formulate proposals to remediate them
- Proficient in Google Slides and Sheets, JIRA, Confluence and PowerPoint
- Structures own work to meet all deadlines, is able to shoulder additional workload, and adds value by exceeding original plans
- Demonstrates use of listening and questioning techniques to understand issues and problems
- Flexible, able to multi-task, context switch, and manage prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal skills, ability to communicate information in clear and concise language to a wide audience varying in levels of technical expertise
- Aptitude for learning new concepts and procedures
- Ability to become a trusted advisor with key stakeholders
- Good interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Work with business teams and business process teams to understand business needs and translate into clear, detailed requirements
- Maintain a deep understanding of user processes, collaborate with stakeholders, and identify opportunities for process optimization
- Address technical issues and discrepancies reported by users, providing timely solutions
- Identify and address gaps in customer experience to enhance satisfaction
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, planning, retrospectives and E2E testing
- Gather requirements from stakeholders and analyze them based on technical environments and enterprise specifics
- Using data, synthesize analytical findings into clear, incisive insights and recommendations that drive business results
- Drive systems-related project execution in direct partnership with business stakeholders, IT and Engineering teams. Document business results achieved through solution implementation
- Lead UAT business planning and execution. Review QA and write UAT test scripts. Manage UAT with end-users including coordination and user acceptance sign-off
- Partner with project stakeholders, IT, and System Administrator teams to plan and prepare for Go-Live and post-go live support
- Participate in end-to-end implementation planning including project management, issue management, communication, and change management
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification
