Senior Business Analyst

Join INSTANDA as a Senior Business Analyst and play a pivotal role in gathering, documenting, and elaborating requirements for client-facing and internal development projects. This client-facing position demands a comprehensive understanding of the INSTANDA platform, acting as a liaison between clients and developers. You will capture technical business requirements, working on complex projects with high-profile insurance clients. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and communication skills, thrives in a scaling tech company, and enjoys a primarily remote work environment with occasional travel. The role involves conducting client interviews, defining functional and non-functional requirements, partnering with engineering teams, supporting UAT processes, and troubleshooting. Success hinges on gaining substantial knowledge of the INSTANDA platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst
• Core insurance knowledge is essential for this role to successfully build relationships with our clients
• Experience of gathering technical business requirements
• Experience of the end-to-end software delivery cycle
• Extensive experience of working with development teams and external clients
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Experience of Agile methodologies
• Experience of process and systems analysis and experience in translating requirements into User Stories for inclusion in sprints
• Confident in presenting to clients, partner organisations and within INSTANDA

Responsibilities

• Work on complex projects with high profile Insurance clients
• Conduct interviews and workshops with our clients and stakeholders to clarify requirements
• Effectively capture, understand, define and document functional and non-functional business requirements that gather the clients' key criteria and technical requirements, and align these to our commercial and technical considerations
• Partner with our service delivery and engineering teams to support design and sign off potential new functionalities
• Support the UAT process of the INSTANDA configuration and of new functionalities
• Take a hands-on approach to troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

Experience of SaaS or platform technology solutions will be a distinct advantage
