Requirements

• Extensive experience (5+ years) as a Business Analyst, ideally with a focus on finance, compliance or regulatory projects
• Demonstrated ability to analyse and break down complex requirements into actionable tasks, leveraging structured and logical thinking
• Strong communication skills, effectively bridging technical and non-technical audiences
• Proven leadership experience, coordinating cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects
• High attention to detail, ensuring precise analysis, documentation, and execution
• Collaborative and self-aware, fostering team cohesion and seeking continuous improvement through feedback
• Skilled in agile methodologies, with a focus on iterative development and experience in compliance initiatives, ideally within a digital environment

Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis and breakdown of finance projects, like withholding tax reporting by calibrating alignment with Envato’s Finance team, Envato’s risk appetite and its strategic goals
• Act as the primary liaison between Product Development teams and the Finance department for finance-related inquiries
• Translate prioritised finance requirements into actionable tasks for Product Development and Engineering teams
• Document withholding tax requirements, project goals, deliverables, and acceptance criteria to ensure clarity and compliance
• Partner with teams to guide projects through the Define and Design phases of the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC)
• Ensure seamless project transitions across all PDLC phases while aligning with business risk appetite and compliance needs
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to explore and validate compliance-focused solutions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication on project statuses, risks, and issues
• Identify and mitigate compliance risks with key stakeholders, developing strategies for timely resolution
