Business Intelligence Developer IV

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in field related to role
• At the manager’s discretion, additional relevant experience may substitute for the degree
• 8+ years of business intelligence experience
• Ability to use Big Data Software Tools
• Cloud computing experience
• Must have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA’s) data Lake software, data mining, data modeling skills, and data virtualization
• Experience with SQL Databases
• Experience with Version Control Platform tools

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of the Business Intelligence (BI) architecture and continually refine the BI strategy to align with corporate direction
• Serve as the subject matter expert in extraction of information from EFD, Star and Snowflake schemas
• Build operational and ad-hoc reports
• Build reports that take advantage of OLAP/Dimensional Modeling capabilities
• Build executive dashboards and corporate scorecards
• Work with customers to define their requirements and create information delivery solutions that meet their needs utilizing “best practices.”
• Write software in an open-source setting
• Write and design documents
• Review proposed software branches
• Participates in project discussions
