Summary
Join Grafana Labs' global People Business Partnering function as a full-time remote People Business Partner based in the United Kingdom. Reporting to the Director of People Business Partnering, you will be a key member of the R&D Business Partnering team, supporting global leadership in designing and implementing the People strategy. This role requires strategic planning and tactical execution, impacting talent, culture, and business needs. You will partner with R&D management, lead the talent agenda, identify process gaps, support the international People team, and mentor people managers. Requirements
- Have experience in a high-growth scaling environment
- Have experience partnering with R&D management teams at a Sr. Business Partner level
- Be process oriented and enjoy creating structure where there may be ambiguity and are skilled at finding creative solutions to non-obvious problems
- Handle a wide range of complex and highly sensitive employee issues and maintain confidentiality at all levels of the organization
- Be an excellent communicator in all channels (in-person, over Zoom, in Slack) and be able to garner strong working relationships as a result
- Be a people-person and problem solver at heart - be able to take your passion for helping others and identifying problems to ultimately define solutions and drive impact via a high say/do ratio
- Appreciate working in a team through competing priorities and be able to use your initiative and creative problem solving to confidently manage decision-making
- Be highly approachable and provide a customer service approach to your role ensuring that everyone, locally and internationally, views you as a βgo toβ person for your business and function
Responsibilities
- Partner directly with our R&D management and leadership teams building trusted advisor status with key stakeholders
- Design and lead the strategic talent agenda for the global R&D function in partnership with our CTO, VP Product and wider Leadership team
- Identify needs, gaps and opportunities within current processes and policies as well as partner to ensure sustainable and scalable processes are created
- Support the international People team by acting as the local expert for UK based projects and initiatives
- Support new and experienced people managers across the R&D function to ensure we build a strong and consistent approach to people management
- Partner with our People team to deliver our annual People processes surrounding talent and performance, workforce management, attrition, compensation analysis and learning & development initiatives
- Have the professional knowledge to actively contribute to the enhancement and delivery of these processes, as well as provide your experienced perspective on how to improve Grafana initiatives on an ongoing basis
Preferred Qualifications
Have experience of working remotely and internationally coordinating with team members globally and understand the challenges and opportunities of remote work and communication
