Senior Business Unit Controller / Finance Business Partner, Remote - Germany

Summary

The job is for a Business Unit Controller at CREALOGIX, a leading FinTech company. The role involves managing financial aspects of a Market Unit and reporting to the Business Unit Leader and management team. The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in Controlling and Cost Accounting, with additional experience in project management or the software industry being beneficial.

Requirements

• Completed Bachelor or Master degree in Economics with specialization in Controlling or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Controlling and Cost Accounting field

Responsibilities

• Serve as a sparring partner for the Business Unit Leader and management team, providing support in decision-making
• Responsible for financial planning / analysis and monthly Market Unit Reporting including Forecast & Budget
• Support and challenge the Sales and Project teams, monitor projects and capacity planning
• Project-Controlling: Support in the bid phase with loadable project cost calculation, project management and monitoring, and responsibility for project data
• Responsible for correct Umsatzrealisierung gemäß IFRS 15
• Perform contract reviews and adherence to group guidelines
• Analyze deviations and derive appropriate measures for goal achievement
• Establish Controlling-Governance with Deal Desks
• Participate in the continuous optimization of project and financial processes, as well as operational Controlling

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in project environment or software industry is beneficial
