Summary
Join Trajectory RCS, a MedHQ company, as a Hospital/Facility Revenue Cycle Manager and lead a team in optimizing healthcare cash flow. Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of physician and hospital billing and coding practices, reimbursement methodologies, and industry regulations
- Proven experience in revenue cycle management, preferably in a leadership role
- Strong understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and experience in monitoring and improving revenue cycle metrics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with providers, administration, and team members
- Familiarity with compliance requirements, such as HIPAA, and experience in implementing and enforcing compliance programs
- Strong leadership abilities with a supportive and effective management style
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify areas for improvement and drive process optimization
- Proficiency in revenue cycle software and healthcare billing systems
Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, fostering strong, long-lasting relationships
- Understand client goals, challenges, and operational policies to tailor our services effectively
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to review performance metrics, discuss strategies, and address any concerns
- Develop strategic account plans to maximize client satisfaction and retention
- Revenue Cycle Management: Oversee end-to-end revenue cycle operations, charge capture, coding, billing, denial management, and collections
- Implement best practices to enhance revenue capture, reduce outstanding accounts receivables, and improve overall cash flow
- Regularly monitor and analyze revenue cycle performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, payer policies, and contractual obligations
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of revenue cycle specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Coordinate with internal departments to optimize workflow and ensure seamless service delivery
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and career progression
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute strategic initiatives that align with the client's financial and operational goals
- Collaborate with business leaders to innovate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy in revenue cycle processes
- Prepare and present detailed performance reports and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve issues impacting the revenue cycle processes, implementing corrective actions promptly
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure the swift resolution of operational challenges
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS) is a plus
