Join Apply Digital's marketing team as a Senior Content Writer for a 7-month contract (June-December 2025)! Requirements

  • A university-level degree in a related field like business, marketing, journalism, healthcare, or communications is preferred
  • An understanding of statistics, business strategy, digital technology
  • 6-8 years of experience with strategic and marketing content writing
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Google Suite
  • A native understanding of English and expert-level ability in writing in English
  • A passion for converting big words and complex concepts into simple, engaging storytelling
  • An eye for editing and a gift for getting to the point
  • A writer portfolio that demonstrates your range, ability to connect, and originality
  • An understanding of how brand voice and brand identity are foundational to storytelling
  • An understanding of digital marketing and how content can be leveraged across platforms
  • The ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and prioritize what’s important
  • High accountability: you own content and projects from start to finish
  • A proactive thinker: the ability to zoom out and connect your content to our company’s overarching story
  • Experience working with and uploading content in a CMS (ie you understand what components do), and can communicate with designers and tech to bring content to life
  • An understanding of market segments and empathy maps
  • Experience in creating SEO-optimized content while also prioritizing accessibility
  • A curiosity about the world and connecting with a variety of people

  • As a part of your application, please submit at least one long-form (1,000 words+), one mid-form (200-500 words), and one short-form (50-100 words) writing example of your previous works

Responsibilities

  • Creating well-researched content that includes thought leadership articles, blog posts, landing pages, events pages, website copy, project case studies, research reports, video scripts, white papers, webinar content, and social media content
  • Actively brainstorming with the Marketing team on creative and strategic approaches to projects and campaigns
  • Researching markets and industries to create original and innovative content
  • Collaborating alongside a cross-disciplinary team that includes tech, design, growth marketing, BD, partnerships, strategy, and C-suite

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with Storyblok or other CMS platforms is a greatly appreciated
