Summary

Join GoDaddy's global litigation team as a Senior Counsel – Global Litigation. This remote position involves significant litigation responsibilities, including managing a diverse docket of domestic and international disputes, advising on litigation risks, and proactively mitigating potential risks. Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • 6+ years of litigation experience in private practice and/or an in-house corporate litigation department
  • Significant litigation experience, including managing teams handling complex litigation and trial experience
  • Strong decision-making and business advisory experience
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • The ability to anticipate risks and develop proactive, pragmatic solutions

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a legal partner and trusted advisor to the Sr. Director, Sr. Counsel - Litigation on global litigation risk across all business areas
  • Help manage GoDaddy’s global litigation docket, including selecting and directing external counsel within agreed policies and budget and driving day-to-day strategies on certain matters
  • Help develop and implement a cohesive global litigation strategy aligned with business objectives while adapting to local legal variances
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on litigation risk assessment in M&A transactions, product development, and strategy initiatives
  • Partner with public policy and public relations teams on litigation-related matters and risk mitigation strategies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in technology, particularly internet, domain registrar and web hosting industry-related litigation
  • Experience in a multinational public technology company
