Senior Corporate Paralegal

Summary

Join Unity's legal team as a Senior Corporate Paralegal! This role involves managing corporate functions globally, including entity management, maintaining records, and collaborating with various teams. You will establish compliance processes, prepare materials for meetings, and support M&A activities. The ideal candidate has experience as a corporate paralegal, particularly with public company reporting, and excellent communication and organizational skills. Relocation and visa sponsorship are not offered. The salary range is $73,400 - $110,200 USD.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability as a corporate paralegal and experience with public company reporting – either at a world-class law firm or in-house at a public company
• Familiarity with equity compensation concepts, documents and reporting
• Outstanding communication skills, with an ability to interact effectively with people in varying corporate roles
• Outstanding attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and an appetite for problem-solving
• Self-motivated, resourceful and full of integrity, with the ability to collaborate as a team while also taking initiative and exercising excellent judgment
• Ability to handle ambiguity, balance many matters at once and quickly shift from one situation or task to another, all with a sense of humor
• Sufficient knowledge of English to have professional verbal and written exchanges

Responsibilities

• Establish compliance processes and procedures
• Lead on the preparation of materials for meetings and maintenance of the subsidiaries, including drafting resolutions and minutes
• Provide administrative support for M&A-related matters, as needed
• Collaborate with the tax and treasury teams on certain matters related to subsidiary management
