Senior Counsel, Commercial

Join Zuora's Legal team as a Senior Counsel, Commercial, reporting to the Deputy General Counsel. Requirements

• 5 years or more of relevant law firm and/or legal department experience
• JD or equivalent from an accredited law school/university
• Demonstrated in-house experience, being strategic with respect to complex commercial contract negotiations and transactions within the technology industry and professional services

Responsibilities

• Provide focused efficient commercial transaction support, including efficient processes for negotiating and managing transactions
• Collaborate with Legal colleagues, including on privacy and security compliance, IP-related contract provisions, other IP protection matters and M&A diligence support
• Develop and maintain an understanding of Zuora’s business, product roadmaps, go-to-market strategy and competition
• Implement and communicate best practices and process automation, including by monitoring the competitive business landscape
