Join Zuora's Legal team as a Senior Counsel, Commercial, reporting to the Deputy General Counsel. This role requires a positive, agile, and business-focused legal leader to drive commercial and go-to-market revenue generation strategies. Responsibilities include providing commercial transaction support, collaborating with legal colleagues, understanding Zuora's business, and implementing best practices. Requirements
- 5 years or more of relevant law firm and/or legal department experience
- JD or equivalent from an accredited law school/university
- Demonstrated in-house experience, being strategic with respect to complex commercial contract negotiations and transactions within the technology industry and professional services
Responsibilities
- Provide focused efficient commercial transaction support, including efficient processes for negotiating and managing transactions
- Collaborate with Legal colleagues, including on privacy and security compliance, IP-related contract provisions, other IP protection matters and M&A diligence support
- Develop and maintain an understanding of Zuoraβs business, product roadmaps, go-to-market strategy and competition
- Implement and communicate best practices and process automation, including by monitoring the competitive business landscape

Deep experience partnering and providing support to SaaS Sales teams
