Summary
Join MetroStar as a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer I and design, install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software components. Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or commensurate experience
- Possess an active Secret U.S. Government security clearance
- 5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with a strong background in various domains such as network security, application security, and cloud security
- Proven experience implementing cybersecurity requirements within a U.S. Government environment, including managing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), NIST 800-53 requirements, and PO&AMs
- Experience mitigating CVE vulnerabilities within required Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines
- Hands-on experience leveraging security scanning tools in CI/CD pipelines such as ACAS, SonarQube, Fortify, Trivy, OWASP Zap, and Burpsuite
- Proven track record of designing and implementing effective cybersecurity strategies in complex environments
- Proficiency in security tools, techniques, and practices for threat detection and mitigation
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
