Requirements
- Proven experience with advanced SQL - ability to write complex queries, optimize performance, and work with large datasets
- 7 + years in analytical roles with strong business acumen and ability to connect data insights to business outcomes
- Hands-on familiarity with machine learning concepts and model interpretation (not required to build models)
- Demonstrated success translating technical analysis into strategic recommendations
- Strong curiosity and problem-solving mindset with experience in SaaS or technology environments
- Experience working closely with cross-functional teams to support business objectives
Responsibilities
- Drive business growth through deep-dive analyses on client performance, market trends, and product effectiveness
- Spearhead data-driven initiatives using advanced SQL to extract insights from large datasets and support strategic decision-making
- Champion analytical excellence by interpreting machine learning model outputs and translating technical findings into business recommendations
- Own key performance metrics and reporting frameworks that measure client outcomes and business impact
- Drive cross-functional collaboration by supporting sales, product, and customer experience teams with data-driven insights
- Build analytical frameworks and automated reporting solutions that scale with business growth
- Lead client intelligence efforts, identifying patterns and opportunities that inform product development and positioning
Preferred Qualifications
- Insurance industry knowledge, particularly P&C underwriting or claims management, is a plus
