Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, statistics, data science, consulting, or other relevant field
  • Strong understanding of databases and business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Metabase etc.)
  • Advanced SQL skills and ability to write well-optimized queries
  • Ability to organize and present complex data to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience solving ambiguous problems using data
  • Ability to analyze data and condense data to tell a persuasive story
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams
  • Self-starter, with ability to drive change through influence, and collaborate effectively with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders
  • A collaborative mindset, and eagerness to partner with stakeholders across a rapidly growing organization

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with teams to provide data-driven insights that will help drive a significant increase in core business KPIs (growth, revenue, engagement)
  • Create compelling internal dashboards to monitor the health of the product and business KPIs (growth, revenue, engagement)
  • Present and articulate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Deliver ad-hoc analyses and reports to support business needs, investigate, triage, and resolve metrics-based issues without heavy guidance
  • Review current processes and spot potential opportunities for improvement via reporting or automation
  • Look for opportunities to automate insights through alerting and anomaly detection
  • Identify areas short of new data and the refinement of existing data sources
