Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on analytics experience with product and / or growth teams, ideally at a software company
- Advanced SQL skills and experience building pipelines. Proficiency with Python or R preferred
- Deep understanding of SaaS products and demonstrated success partnering with product teams to answer a wide range of questions employing various analytics approaches and methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and set priorities with a variety of key stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Effective at communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Committed to contributing to a collaborative, enjoyable, and psychologically safe work environment
Responsibilities
- Surface insights and actionable recommendations to inform engineering and executive decision-making around developer efficiency, velocity, and impact
- Create measurement frameworks to measure product success
- Define and refine KPIs and diagnostic metrics aligned to engineering health, such as deployment frequency, lead time, and cycle time
- Conduct deep-dive analyses into the software development lifecycle to identify friction points, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
- Act as a strategic analytical partner to Engineering, Product, and cross-functional teams, helping to shape a data-driven approach to scaling high-performing development teams
- Improve operational efficiency within engineering by evaluating and implementing tooling, automating repetitive processes, and promoting best practices in data instrumentation and usage
