Summary

Join MongoDB as a Senior Product Analyst II and play a key role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our engineering teams. Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on analytics experience with product and / or growth teams, ideally at a software company
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience building pipelines. Proficiency with Python or R preferred
  • Deep understanding of SaaS products and demonstrated success partnering with product teams to answer a wide range of questions employing various analytics approaches and methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and set priorities with a variety of key stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Effective at communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Committed to contributing to a collaborative, enjoyable, and psychologically safe work environment

Responsibilities

  • Surface insights and actionable recommendations to inform engineering and executive decision-making around developer efficiency, velocity, and impact
  • Create measurement frameworks to measure product success
  • Define and refine KPIs and diagnostic metrics aligned to engineering health, such as deployment frequency, lead time, and cycle time
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses into the software development lifecycle to identify friction points, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Act as a strategic analytical partner to Engineering, Product, and cross-functional teams, helping to shape a data-driven approach to scaling high-performing development teams
  • Improve operational efficiency within engineering by evaluating and implementing tooling, automating repetitive processes, and promoting best practices in data instrumentation and usage
