Requirements
- Relevant and demonstrated industry experience working with cross-functional partners and driving work from idea to completion
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with business and external stakeholders
- Bachelorβs degree, preferably in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field
- 4+ years of relevant work experience (or Masters degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience or PhD with 1+ years of relevant work experience)
Responsibilities
- Partner with product and business teams to develop effective success metrics (OKRs from product level to company level)
- Design experiments to measure the impact of new features on those metrics
- Partner with engineering teams to develop product analytics and data monitoring/alerting systems
- Partner with our machine learning teams for investigations and feature engineering
- Become an expert in our data analytics pipelines and core metrics
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with experimental design, econometrics, and/or causal inference
- Expert level skills at SQL (experience with dbt is a plus but not required)
- Expertise with Python, R, or a similar data science scripting language
- Experience with a standard data science software ecosystem: Jupyter Notebooks, pandas, scikit-learn; or RStudio, tidyverse, etc
- Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar
