Summary

Join IT Concepts, Inc. as a Senior Deployment Manager โ€“ IT Asset Management to support the Department of Veteranโ€™s Affairs (VA) HAM and SAM solution within the ServiceNow platform. Lead and oversee successful deployment, ensuring alignment with VA's strategic objectives and ITIL best practices. Provide expert guidance to the project team throughout the deployment lifecycle. Collaborate with VA stakeholders to gather requirements and manage expectations. Oversee configuration, customization, and integration of ServiceNow modules. Manage project budget, track progress, and report on KPIs. Identify and address roadblocks, escalating issues as needed. Champion adoption of the new solution, promoting its benefits and driving user engagement. This remote position is based in the US and supports Eastern Time working hours. Contingent upon funding approval.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering management or other engineering or technical discipline is required. (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)
  • 10 years of overall experience with 5+ years of experience in IT projects with a proven track record of successful complex large deployments
  • 5+ years of experience in IT asset management, preferably within a government or healthcare environment
  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, particularly the HAM and SAM modules
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams
  • Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the successful deployment of the Department of Veteranโ€™s Affairs (VA) HAM and SAM solution within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring alignment with VA's strategic objectives and ITIL best practices
  • Provide expert guidance and direction to the project team, including analysts, developers, and administrators, throughout the entire deployment lifecycle
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive deployment plan, including project scope, timelines, resources, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate closely with VA stakeholders, including IT leadership, business units, and end-users, to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure successful adoption of the solution
  • Oversee the configuration, customization, and integration of the ServiceNow HAM and SAM modules to meet VA's specific needs and processes
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the deployment process, including data migration, cleansing, and normalization
  • Manage project budget, track progress, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to VA leadership
  • Identify and address potential roadblocks and challenges, escalating issues as needed and proactively seeking solutions
  • Champion the adoption of the new HAM and SAM solution, promoting its benefits and driving user engagement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • PMP or PgMP certification
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of VA's organizational structure and IT environment
