Summary

Join Wpromote as a Senior Director, Connections Strategy and develop innovative cross-channel media strategies connecting brands with their target audiences. Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in media planning, connections strategy, or related fields
  • Proven track record developing integrated media strategies across traditional and digital channels
  • Experience managing client relationships at a senior level
  • Background leading new business pitches, and mentoring media strategy teams
  • Experience presenting strategic recommendations to C-suite executives
  • Deep understanding of the media landscape, including digital, social, programmatic, and traditional channels
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify meaningful insights and patterns
  • Exceptional storytelling abilities with talent for translating complex ideas into compelling narratives
  • Experience developing consumer journey frameworks and campaign platforms
  • Good with AI tools and being able to design creative prompts for ideation and framework development
  • Excellence in strategic thinking with a consumer-centric approach
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills that inspire clients and teams
  • Proficiency in media planning tools and research platforms
  • Understanding of measurement methodologies and attribution models
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive connections strategies across paid, owned, and earned channels
  • Identify and analyze category, cultural, and consumer insights that inform strategic approaches
  • Translate client business objectives and consumer insights into compelling campaign platforms and media strategies
  • Create and articulate meaningful consumer journeys that map the path to purchase and identify key moments of influence
  • Develop strategic narratives that connect brand purpose with consumer needs in authentic ways
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to clients, providing expert guidance on media investment decisions
  • Collaborate closely with media, data, and account teams to ensure strategies align with broader campaign objectives
  • Foster collaboration between media, creative, data, and account teams
  • Establish processes that drive strategic thinking and innovation within the connections team
  • Represent the agency's strategic point of view in client presentations and new business pitches
  • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives that position the agency as an industry leader
