Requirements

  • Worked asynchronously managing a fully-remote & globally distributed team
  • 7+ years of experience managing high performing teams doing IT operations or business applications management
  • A strong track record of leading evaluation, deployment, testing, and operations of business-critical systems (Finance, HR, Legal)
  • Experience integrating cloud services using an iPaaS solution like Mulesoft, Workato, or Zapier and ETL solutions like dbt, Hightouch, and Fivetran
  • Deployed AI-powered workforce efficiency tools and have opinions about where and how they can add value to teams

Responsibilities

  • Manage a remarkable team: build a new team of analysts and engineers who will define policies, procedures, and best practices for, and run, our mission-critical business systems (Finance, People, Legal)
  • Be a critical business partner: work closely with leaders across G&A, GTM, and Engineering to deliver remarkable experiences for the employees who develop in these systems and those who are end users
  • Be the prime customer of dbt Cloud: use dbt to explore and transform critical data in support of key business processes and work with the engineering team that builds it to improve the way it supports enterprise customers
  • Own process improvement: define how change management, observability, and incident response should work for business systems and the measures and metrics to ensure we are doing well
  • Lead our internal AI Applications Working Group and champion the use of these new technologies to improve business processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience doing development in Salesforce
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Python, and REST/SOAP API development
  • Experience optimizing database and data warehouse query performance
