Summary

Join us at Demandbase as a Sr. Director of Advertising Sales to lead a team of overlay Advertising sellers, drive sales strategy, achieve revenue targets, and foster a high-performance culture.

Requirements

  • Success in B2B SaaS or Advertising Sales leadership with between 5-10 years of Sales experience
  • At least 2-5 years of experience managing and leading high-performing Advertising Sales teams. Experience in overlay team structure is a plus
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to drive Sales strategies that align with business goals
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding Sales targets
  • Analytical skills and ability to leverage data for decision-making and forecasting. Accurate and repeatable forecasting is a key requirement for being successful in this role
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience and understanding of selling to agencies is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of Advertising Sales professionals to achieve and exceed Sales targets
  • With the VP, Advertising Sales, establishing overlay structures and processes to partner with core Demandbase Platform sellers
  • Developing and executing strategic Sales plans to expand the customer base and increase revenue
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key partners, customers and stakeholders
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, to align on goals and strategies
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.Β 
  • Providing accurate Sales forecasts and reports to senior leadership
  • Ensuring the team adheres to Sales processes, methodologies, and best practices
  • Driving continuous improvement in Sales techniques, customer engagement, and overall team performance
