Senior Engineer

Summary

Lextegrity is seeking a Senior Engineer in India to manage their offshore technical team handling customer implementations and configurations. The role requires mentoring junior engineers, writing efficient code, prioritizing tasks, conducting code reviews, collaborating with the implementation team, and managing Jira and Tableau reporting.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent learning experience
• Proficiency in NodeJS, ReactJS and TypeScript
• Experience working with relational databases including writing queries
• Experience with asynchronous code execution
• Experience with dynamic run-time scripting engines
• Experience working with cloud native applications on AWS

Responsibilities

• Write well designed, testable, efficient code using best-in-class software development practices
• Manage and mentor junior engineers, helping them enhance their coding skills and maintain a productive work environment
• Prioritize and allocate tasks among onboarding engineers based on project timelines and team capacity
• Monitor velocity and quality of team output to ensure that project milestones are met and resolve issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
• Collaborate closely with customer facing implementation team to understand the priority of work and requirements for client onboarding
• Manage Jira and Tableau reporting of onboarding teams activities

Preferred Qualifications

• SaaS multi-tenant application development
• Experience building and maintaining services/APIs
• Experience with test-driven development and testing frameworks
