Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with experience coding in GoLang
• Experience with a distributed serverless (AWS Lambda) architecture and building scalable systems
• Ability to write high-quality code that is robust and well-tested
• Experience working with converting monolithic code bases to a microservice architecture

Responsibilities

• Help fulfill the mission by applying strong technical and analytical skills to develop and extend the payments platform infrastructure
• Process financial transactions safely, securely, and consistently
• Work with payment processing partners and gateways to identify new workflows
• Give consumers more options to suit their needs, such as alternative payment methods or flexible payment scheduling
• Lead core projects and be a strong team player
• Suggest and implement technical solutions in the payments domain
• Effectively work with Product Management and communicate with stakeholders
• Write high-quality code that is robust and well-tested
• Work with converting monolithic code bases to a microservice architecture

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK in Typescript)
• Some software experience in Scala
• Experience in consumer payment processing
