Summary
Join Agnos, a healthcare technology consultancy, as a Level II QA Engineer. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality software delivery by designing comprehensive test plans, executing various testing methodologies, and managing defects. This mid-level position requires 2β5 years of QA experience and strong analytical and communication skills. Familiarity with POS, KDS, and Kiosk systems is a plus. You will collaborate closely with development teams and contribute to process improvements, reporting to the QA Lead of our client. Requirements
- Have 2β5 years of experience in software quality assurance testing
- Possess a strong understanding of the software testing life cycle (STLC), black-box testing, white-box testing, regression testing, and performance testing
- Have familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail) and defect tracking systems
- Have experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium) and basic scripting knowledge
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to document defects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Have a strong ability to analyze complex requirements, identify potential issues, and troubleshoot problems effectively
Responsibilities
- Create detailed test plans and cases based on functional specifications, user stories, and business requirements
- Design test scenarios for edge cases, negative testing, and complex user flows, with a focus on ensuring seamless user experiences
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing across web, mobile, and system platforms
- Validate workflows and interactions, especially for applications with hardware integrations, such as POS, KDS, and Kiosk systems
- Identify, document, and manage software defects using a defect management system
- Provide detailed defect reports, including reproducible steps, screenshots, logs, and environment details
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure swift and effective defect resolution
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure alignment on quality goals
- Provide feedback on user stories and technical requirements, especially in scenarios involving POS, KDS, and Kiosk workflows
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts
- Utilize appropriate automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency and scalability for complex systems
- Participate in code reviews and requirement analysis sessions
- Recommend and implement improvements to QA processes and methodologies to enhance product quality
Preferred Qualifications
- Have hands-on experience with POS, KDS, and Kiosk applications, including workflows and hardware integrations
- Have familiarity with payment processing workflows and peripheral hardware testing (e.g., printers, scanners, card readers)
- Have basic programming knowledge in languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript
