Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years work experience in payroll administration and/or finance operations
  • Knowledge of end-to-end payroll procedures and pay-impacting processes
  • Excel proficiency is a must

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain highly-confidential employee pay data and records
  • Administer and maintain payroll related databases, templates, etc
  • Ensure the accuracy of payroll reports, timesheets, etc
  • Prepare pre-payroll reports within prescribed deadlines
  • Perform post-payroll audits to validate payroll accuracy
  • Perform post-payroll audits to validate statutory contributions
  • Perform post-payroll audits to validate payroll-related invoices
  • Act as the main point of contact for queries from clients, employees and partners
  • Analyze and respond to matters requiring knowledge of payroll policies/procedures
  • Identify improvement opportunities and implement strategies, processes and controls to enhance business efficiency
  • Review pre-payroll reports prepared by payroll administrators
  • Review post-payroll reports prepared by payroll administrators
  • Review invoices and reports prepared by finance administrators
  • Mentor and guide administrators within the team
  • Assist with end-of-month financial reporting and analysis
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis, as needed
  • Act as a leave cover for payroll and finance administrators

Preferred Qualifications

  • Work experience in an Employer of Record structure would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of AU, NZ, UK, EMEA and NA payroll would be an advantage
  • Netsuite experience would be an advantage
  • Zendesk experience would be an advantage
