Summary
Join Experian's FP&A Team in Costa Rica as a Finance Business Partner for North America. This critical role involves managing FP&A functions, collaborating with finance teams across the region, and reporting directly to the Finance Manager. You will partner with senior executives, including the CFO, SVPs, and VPs, to provide financial insights and support informed decision-making. Responsibilities include financial reporting and analysis, allocation management, leading month-end close processes, executive communication, ad-hoc reporting, and driving continuous improvement projects. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, 8+ years of progressive finance experience, strong analytical skills, and advanced English proficiency. This is a fully remote position.
Requirements
- Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA as an ideal
- Professional Experience : Over 8 years of progressive finance experience, including month-end processes, reporting, fix assets, GL and budget management
- Business Partnering Skills : Ability to support finance professionals with a focus on customer service and responsiveness
- Analytical Proficiency : Experience in financial reporting, account reconciliation, and P&L analysis
- Ability working with all organizational levels, including senior leaders
- Technical Competence : Advanced English level and proficiency in Excel and familiar with financial systems and tools such as OBIEE, Hyperion Planning/Essbase, and SmartView
Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Analysis : Support monthly, quarterly, and budget reporting and analysis for Regional North America, ensuring accurate financial insights
- Allocation Management : Oversee global and regional allocation processes for Regional North America, including BU and intercompany allocations and recharges
- Month-End Close Leadership : Lead month-end close, forecast, and budget processes for Corporate Costs, collaborating with finance teams to ensure completion
- Executive Communication : Facilitate meetings and discussions with senior executives (CFO NA, SVP, VPs) to explain financials and lead informed decision-making
- Ad-Hoc Reporting & Analysis : Create ad-hoc analysis reports to explore multiple scenarios and identify opportunities for Corporate functions and teams
- Continuous Improvement Projects : Promote standardization, process efficiencies, and system automation, while collaborating with finance and technical teams to enhance data quality and forecasting accuracy
