Summary

PeopleCert., a leading education technology player and global leader in assessment and certification of professional skills, is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to drive financial excellence and provide strategic leadership. The role involves overseeing financial planning, reporting, cash flow management, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication, and more. The ideal candidate must have a Master's degree in accounting or finance, relevant certification, proven experience as a Head of Finance or similar role, and strong analytical skills.

Requirements

  • Master's in accounting, Finance, or relevant field
  • MBA or relevant certification (e.g.CA/CFA/CPA) will be considered as a plus
  • Proven working experience as a Head of Finance, Director of Finance, or similar role
  • In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping
  • Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Solid analytical and decision-making skills
  • Leadership abilities
  • Excellent command of English is required (C2 level certification desired)

Responsibilities

  • Developing and overseeing financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning
  • Analyzing financial data, trends, and performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations to senior management
  • Forecasting monthly, quarterly, and annual results & approving or rejecting budgets
  • Identifying financial risks and developing strategies to mitigate them
  • Establishing and monitoring internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conducting periodic risk assessments and recommending appropriate risk management actions
  • Monitoring cash flow projections and managing cash flow to meet operational needs
  • Implementing strategies to optimize cash resources and minimize financial risks
  • Overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections
  • Providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
  • Evaluating investment opportunities and assessing their financial viability and potential returns
  • Participating in business planning and development of financial strategies to achieve company objectives
  • Communicating financial performance, forecasts, and key insights to senior management, board of directors, and investors
  • Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, investors, and regulatory authorities
