Financial Analyst, FP&A

Summary

Join Slice's FP&A team as a Financial Analyst and contribute to the company's future success. You will support G&A and R&D functions, participate in the budgeting process, provide analytical support, and create financial models and presentations. Partner with stakeholders to identify efficiencies and support investment decisions. The ideal candidate possesses 2-3 years of analytical experience, a finance/accounting degree, strong Excel skills, and experience with cloud-based EPM applications. Requirements

• 2-3 years of quantitative or highly analytical work experience, ideally in the financial, accounting, consulting or technology industries
• BA or BS with a finance, accounting or quantitative focus
• Excellent Excel skills, with the ability to build 3-statement financial models with detailed buildups
• Exposure to one or more major Cloud based SaaS EPM applications (i.e. Oracle Hyperion, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support the organization's plan for future success, providing day-to-day reporting and actionable insights to ensure the business is making the best decisions along the way
• Contribute to the annual and quarterly budgeting process, providing analytical support related to expenses and headcount planning to budget holders across the respective functions
• Provide internal and external reporting needs on an ongoing and ad hoc basis
• Partner closely with key business stakeholders to understand detailed drivers of the business, identify efficiencies, and perform ad-hoc financial analyses to support investment decisions
• Create financial models, presentations, and dashboards for senior finance leadership and executive teams with actionable insights

Preferred Qualifications

Basic knowledge in SQL and at least one data visualization tool (Looker, Tableau, etc.)
