Summary
Join Ting Internet's Finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A, playing a key role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. You will develop financial dashboards, analyze KPIs, and provide insights to support decision-making. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance financial transparency and efficiency. You will contribute to building a scalable, data-driven FP&A function supporting both current performance and long-term growth. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Requirements
- Post-secondary education with 5+ years of related FP&A, finance operations, or financial advisory experience, preferably in a multi-location, SaaS or telecommunications environment
- Strong expertise in financial statements, financial analysis, and financial modelling, with a proven track record in business development
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail
- A collaborative team player who enjoys working with stakeholders across multiple teams
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial dashboards and executive reports to provide visibility into key performance trends
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and business benchmarks, including financial performance metrics for internal and external reporting
- Utilize BI tools to automate reporting and deliver meaningful insights into business performance
- Provide detailed cost center variance analysis and commentary on actuals vs. budget/forecast
- Analyze historical budgets and current expenditures to inform and develop accurate future forecasts
- Support the annual budgeting process, as well as the monthly and/or quarterly forecasting cycles
- Work closely with the leadership team to develop the medium to long term financial and strategic plan
- Provide insights to senior management around financial modelling, forecasts and profitability
- Partner with IT and other stakeholders to automate financial and operational reporting, and streamline data management
- Work with Business Unit heads to analyze and interpret financial results against budgets and forecasts
- Present financial insights to executive leadership, ensuring clarity and actionability
- Review and refine financial processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue optimization, and streamlined operations
- Leverage technology and automation to enhance reporting and forecasting accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with BI and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- CPA, CBV, MBA and/or CFA designation
Benefits
- The base salary range for this position is $83,810 to $98,600. Range shown in $CAD for Canadian residents. Other countries will differ. Range may vary on a number of factors including, but not limited to: location, experience and qualifications
