Summary
Join PandaDoc as a Data Analyst specializing in financial data and health. This role integrates data analytics and financial analysis to enhance decision-making. You will partner with C-level executives, leverage analytical skills, develop predictive models, and generate insights to guide investment choices. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, a team player, and comfortable working at all levels of the organization. This is a chance to be part of a dynamic, growing Strategic Finance team. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to improve business results and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Analytical Skills: Ability to work independently, think objectively, and interpret meaningful and insightful narratives from both quantitative as well as qualitative data
- Financial and Business Acumen: Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate as well as distill data into actionable information to drive results
- Problem Solving & Decision Quality: Ability to apply rigorous logic and sound methods to solve multi-faceted problems with effective solutions
- Relationship Building: Able to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners, inclusive of senior members of management with ability to influence at all levels
- Presentation Skills: Effective in a variety of presentation settings including one-on-one, small, and large groups
- Technical Skills: SQL, Tableau, Snowflake and Pigment a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field
- 3+ years experience in Data Analytics
- 3+ years of proficiency in data manipulation, i.e., SQL and Python
- 3+ years of experience building well-designed dashboards using Tableau, PowerBI, or similar software. High proficiency with FP&A system, especially Pigment Planning preferred
- Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skills are required
Responsibilities
- Possess the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data, enabling evidence-based decision-making
- Improve business results through creating best-in-class metrics, analysis, visualizations, and data-driven storytelling
- Collaborate with the Product team to enhance revenue, retention, and engagement metrics. This includes conducting A/B testing, performing insights analysis, and developing dashboards
- Monitor and maintain the integrity of a wide range of tools and models used to streamline workflows and personalize the player experience, in collaboration with other data analysts and scientists in the org
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the pipeline, partner with data engineering to implement validation and error-handling procedures. Automate data extraction to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and business leaders, to gather requirements, prioritize projects, and deliver actionable insights
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degrees (Masters or PhD) are a plus
- 2+ years of investment banking, management consulting or experience within the finance team of a technology company preferred
- Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills
- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
- Ability to translate complex concepts into simple takeaways and are not hesitant to voice your point of view
- Prior experience with SalesForce.com or ERP/NetSuite
- Prior experience in a high-growth high tech/software/SaaS organization is a plus
