Senior FP&A Analyst

Summary

Join Careem as a remote Senior FP&A Analyst based in India, supporting the UAE, Jordan, and other markets. You will be a key member of the Finance team, collaborating with various business units to analyze financial data, create insightful reports, and offer actionable recommendations. This role involves planning and forecasting, identifying performance variances, and supporting month-end closing activities. You will utilize BI tools like Tableau, Redash, and SQL. A Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience in finance within the tech sector are required. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
• A minimum of 3 year of experience in finance, accounting, or related areas within Tech sector
• Strong analytical skills and experience using BI and reporting tools
• Excellent quantitative skills with the ability to solve complex problems
• A high level of commercial acumen and business understanding
• Strong drive to learn and grow
• High ownership and proactiveness
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerBI, Redash and SQL

Responsibilities

• Be a partner to the business across financial and commercial decisions
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance dashboards / reports
• Analyze business performance and report any significant variances
• Recommend operational improvements and cost-saving initiatives to enhance productivity
• Build & maintain annual/quarterly/monthly budgets and forecasts
• Conduct data analytics for ad hoc business cases and deep dives into operational and financial results
• Utilize Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau, Redash, and SQL to create insightful reports that support business decisions
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate month-end book closure and financial reporting

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degrees like MBA, CA, or CFA
