Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience majorly in planning and executing large-scale events, preferably in the technology or B2B industry
  • Experience managing event budgets and complex timelines
  • Strong understanding of event technology platforms and tools
  • Experience working with partners and sponsors to enhance event impact
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Data-driven approach to event planning and measurement
  • Passion for creating memorable and impactful events

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and execution of a comprehensive global events strategy in alignment with company objectives
  • Assist in building and maintaining a detailed annual event calendar with 3rd party conferences, speaking engagements and flagship events
  • Research and recommend innovative event formats, technologies, and trends to enhance participant engagement and event impact
  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of assigned global events, ensuring timely and successful delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design compelling content and unique experiences tailored to target audiences
  • Manage event budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources
  • Source, negotiate, and manage external vendors, suppliers and venues to ensure high-quality event execution
  • Partner with enterprise sales teams to ensure alignment between event activities and sales priorities
  • Act as the bridge between event strategies and sales goals, ensuring every event maximizes pipeline opportunities and revenue impact
  • Mobilize and inspire the sales force to actively participate in events, from pre-event preparation to post-event follow-ups
  • Provide tailored resources, insights, and support to equip sales teams for success at every stage of the event lifecycle
  • Drive communication and collaboration between sales stakeholders and the events team to amplify the value of our initiatives
  • Partner with the marketing and sales teams to develop and execute pre-event, onsite, and post-event lead generation strategies
  • Implement tools and processes to capture, track, and report on event leads and their contribution to sales pipelines
  • Monitor and measure the ROI of events and recommend strategies for optimization
  • Deliver memorable and engaging participant experiences that foster networking and a sense of community
  • Oversee event logistics, including registration, onsite/virtual operations and post-event evaluations
  • Gather attendee feedback and implement improvements to elevate future events
  • Utilize and manage event technology platforms such as registration systems, virtual event tools and lead capture tools
  • Ensure seamless integration of event technology with CRM and marketing automation systems
  • Leverage technology to enhance participant engagement, facilitate networking and collect valuable event data
  • Collaborate with strategic partners to integrate their involvement into event activities, including product demos and workshops
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners to enhance event reach and effectiveness
  • Assist in managing sponsorship agreements and tracking partner impact metrics
  • Track and report on key performance metrics for events, including participation, lead generation and ROI
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of future events
  • Maintain organized records of event activities, budgets, and outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications in marketing, sales enablement, or digital marketing
