Join ModSquad as a Senior HCM Analyst and leverage your Workday expertise to design, implement, and optimize HCM solutions. Requirements
- 4+ years of Workday HCM experience
- Experience implementing & supporting other WD functional areas - Payroll
- Strong knowledge of Workday modules and configuration
- Proven experience in project management, client engagement, and team leadership
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical functions and processes clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong ability to understand internal client & business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions within Workday
- Ability to work with varying priorities and changing deadlines while consistently meeting business objectives
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on practical solutions
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, fostering a spirit of knowledge sharing and support
- Takes initiative and anticipates needs
- Troubleshooting and error diagnosis
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications for both HCM and payroll solutions
- Configure and customize Workday HCM modules, including Core HCM, Talent Management, and Compensation
- Ensure HRIS compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies, including data security and confidentiality
- Design and ensure appropriate level of data security and segregation of duties by defining security roles, access controls and permission sets with stakeholder collaboration
- Support additional company functions such as Financial Management, Time Tracking, Analytics and Reporting, and Talent Management, providing expertise as needed
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements
- Provide expert guidance on best practices and industry standards related to HCM processes
- Influence the adoption of the optimal approach at all levels and drive the seamless delivery of projects through strong project management capabilities
- Delegate tasks effectively within the project team, ensuring timely completion and accountability
- Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing, and post-implementation support
- Share knowledge and provide training to team members and end-users to facilitate their understanding and use of Workday
- Stay updated on Workday releases and new features, advising stakeholders and partners on potential impacts
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Workday Studio is a significant advantage
- Workday certification is highly preferred, prioritizing HCM functional areas: Benefits Management, Compensation Management, Learning & Development, Talent, and Performance Management
