Supporting the Financeโs Penang Shared Service Center, you will be the primary HR contact for finance employees and managers. Requirements
- 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in an HR generalist role
- Proven ability to work independently and manage priorities in a dynamic environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with employees at various levels
- Demonstrated experience in managing employee relations and performance issues
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary HR point of contact for a team of finance employees and managers, including accounting, payroll, and accounts payable, etc
- Advise leaders and employees on HR policies, and programs across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding
- Lead and support HR and leadership development programs to drive local team effectiveness
- Support employee relations by managing issues, conducting objective investigations, and fostering a positive work environment
- Collaborate with leadership to understand current and future talent needs, ensuring alignment with broader talent strategies
- Coordinate and deliver employee engagement activities and meetings, including team-building and all-hands meetings
- Participate in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., compensation review, organizational design, performance management, training, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in Human Resources or related field
- Demonstrated success supporting finance or shared services teams
- Experience leading HR programs, including performance management and leadership development
