Requirements
- Broad knowledge of IT topics (hardware, software, computer networks) to diagnose and solve technical issues reported by Booksy employees
- Good understanding of common operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux) and common technical challenges
- Very good communication skills, patience, empathy, and ability to explain technical challenges to non-technical users
- Good research skills, self-reliance, and βcan-doβ attitude to solve technical challenges based on the information available on the Internet
- Ability to perform analysis (cost vs benefits) in the context of hardware or peripherals purchased for employees
- Willingness to learn system administration and digital workplace topics
- Only U.S.-based candidates in the Eastern and Central time zone will be considered, due to team time zone differences
Responsibilities
- Resolve ongoing technical problems reported on the ticketing system face-to-face and remotely
- Purchase, prepare, configure, and maintain the inventory of equipment for employees and contractors
- Diagnose and troubleshoot computers, printers, and other peripherals
- Manage SaaS applications, overseeing access control, optimizing licensing, and ensuring cost-effective use of cloud-based tools to align with organizational needs and security standards
- Manage APIs, Make, PowerShell, and command-line tools. Efficiently automate workflows, integrate systems, and leverage scripting and terminal commands to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and ensure cost-effective, scalable solutions
- Assist in maintaining the network infrastructure in the office
- Support in the creation and implementation of security policies and IT procedures in Booksy
- Actively participate in the process of declaring IT hardware and software purchase invoices
- Take part in global IT initiatives around Digital Workplace and Endpoint Management
- Administer users in Google Workspace, Slack, Office 365
Preferred Qualifications
- Spanish, French and Polish languages
- IAM awareness (least privilege, MFA, access reviews)
- ITIL certification
