Senior Manager

Summary

Join Oscar as a Sr. Manager, Enrollment and Billing Proficiency and drive the strategy and implementation of department-specific programs. Collaborate cross-functionally, leveraging data for informed decisions. This role reports to the Director/Senior Director, Eligibility & Billing. The position offers a blended work culture with a remote option, requiring at least two days in the office per week if within commuting distance of NYC, Tempe, or Los Angeles offices. Compensation includes a competitive salary ($118,080 - $172,200 per year depending on location), employee benefits, unlimited vacation, and annual performance bonuses. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in strategy, operations, procedure writing, project planning, and program management within the healthcare or insurance industries.

Requirements

• 6+ years experience in strategy and operations
• 4+ years Procedure writing and development experience
• 4+ years project planning and program management experience

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting, driving and executing the strategy for department specific programs
• Identify success criteria, and implement operating metrics to measure success; analyze data to own root cause analysis and implement mitigation strategies
• Program management of key department and cross functional strategy initiatives
• Build operating playbooks and workflows to get the most value out of department initiatives
• Development and growth of direct reports (as applicable), ensuring that colleagues are supported in their professional development needs
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• 2+ years of Enrollment and Billing experience
• 6+ years experience working in healthcare or insurance industries in a strategy, business development, or project management role
• Management Consulting experience
• Experience in leading large-scale cross functional initiatives
• Experience with Excel and financial modeling experience
