Requirements
- Possess ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize work effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and create solutions for complex problems. Adaptability to handle a variety of tasks, including stepping into urgent situations as needed
- Possess ability to foster collaboration between departments and stakeholders, even when managing competing interests
- Possess proficiency in Excel
- Possess experience with audit compliance, security audits, and ISO 9000 standards
- Possess skills in analyzing business processes, recommending improvements, and implementing changes that positively impact productivity, quality, and operational efficiency
- Possess ability to present progress reports, integrate feedback, and update procedures to ensure best practices
- Have a Bachelorβs degree in finance, business, or a related field
- Have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in billing, AR, and financial systems
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret contractual language to ensure accurate invoicing and adherence to customer terms
- Apply knowledge of revenue recognition principles and sales tax exemptions, as well as international tax regulations like VAT and PST/GST
- Support and manage financial system transitions, with a preference for experience in SAP/S4 Hana
- Work cross-functionally with teams to align efforts and drive projects towards common goals
- Oversee and manage various projects, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are effectively utilized
- Evaluate existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance productivity, quality, and time management
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements, including security audits, ISO 9000 standards, and separation of duties. Interact with external auditors as needed
- Create and update policies and procedures to maintain regulatory and operational efficiency
- Supervise and guide team members, providing coaching and operationalizing best practices across the revenue/order-to-cash cycle
- Manage vendor management systems (VMS), managed services provider (MSP) platforms, and customer billing portals such as Ariba, Coupa, and Tungsten
- Manage international billing processes, with specific experience in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience in the staffing industry
- Have familiarity with the independent workforce world, managed services provider (MSP) models, and vendor management systems (VMS)
- Have advanced Excel skills with knowledge of Zen Desk, Jira, Job Diva, and SAP/S4 Hana
- Have a deep understanding of audit processes, separation of duties, and compliance with ISO 9000 standards
- Possess proficiency in Business Management software
- Possess exceptional leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
- Possess superb recordkeeping, time management, and organizational skills
- Possess advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
