Join SmartRecruiters as a Sr Manager, Sales Development to lead and develop the Sales Development Representative (SDR) function across the US, Europe, and Australia. This senior role requires a data-driven individual who understands top-of-funnel pipelines and excels in driving AI best practices in go-to-market (GTM) strategies. You will collaborate with Operations and Demand leadership teams to create scaling strategies, recruit and develop a world-class SDR team, plan and forecast headcount capacity, identify and implement new practices to enhance team performance, define and implement performance metrics, and drive AI best practices in GTM strategies. Requirements
- Extensive experience in sales development and team leadership within a tech/SaaS sales environment
- Proven ability to drive top-of-funnel excellence, utilizing data-driven targeting and structured outreach cadences
- Demonstrated expertise in leveraging AI for lead qualification, outbound prospecting, and nurturing high-quality sales pipelines
- Strong understanding of the product and value SmartRecruiters Talent Acquisition Suite brings to the market
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Collaborate closely with our Operations and Demand leadership teams to create scaling strategies that support business growth objectives
- Team Building: Recruit, develop, and inspire a world-class team focused on delivering high-quality sales pipelines
- Capacity Planning: Plan, forecast, and understand ramp-adjusted headcount capacity to ensure the team grows in alignment with the needs of our sales organization
- Continuous Improvement: Identify, train, and implement new practices that enhance team performance while maintaining consistency with our company culture and values
- Performance Metrics: Work with Operations and Executive leadership to define and implement performance metrics for SDRs, ensuring robust measurement and accountability
- AI Integration: Drive AI best practices in GTM strategies, including lead qualification and outbound prospecting. Utilize AI tools for GTM engineering, including developing outbound sales sequences and managing high-quality pipelines efficiently
