Join Leonardo.Ai, a rapidly growing AI-powered design platform, as a Senior Manager, Business Development - APJ. You will be responsible for driving new business growth in the APJ region, focusing on industries like marketing, advertising, and gaming. This role involves managing a BDR, building and managing a sales pipeline, developing client relationships, conducting product demos, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of sales experience in software, cloud, or SaaS markets, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a willingness to travel within the APJ region.
Requirements
- You have direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud or SaaS markets
- Comfortable with generating and managing large volumes of leads from cold outreaches through email, Linkedin and personal network
- Ability to adapt quickly to new tasks and work in an unstructured environment
- Strong understanding of B2B SaaS technology
- No ego and willingness to do whatever it takes for the team to win
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team
- Willingness to travel within the APJ region
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a BDR, providing coaching, direction, and support to drive lead generation and pipeline growth
- Spend considerable time driving new business growth for our Teams and API products by prospecting, identifying, and qualifying potential clients
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, helping close out business opportunities for the APJ region
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business challenges and positioning our AI-powered solutions effectively to address their needs
- Conduct product demos, presentations, and discovery sessions to showcase the value and capabilities of our SaaS platform
- Collaborate with the Head of Business Development to develop and execute sales strategies and tailor approaches for different market segments
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and technical solutions consultants, to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position our product within the market
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and forecasted opportunities within the CRM
- Participate in regular sales meetings and contribute insights and feedback to help refine sales processes and strategies
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to AI or solutions targeting a creative industry (Gaming, Marketing, Advertising) would be great, but not essential
