Summary
Join PurposeMed as our Senior Manager, Clinical Partnerships and build strong relationships with sexual health and community clinics to establish a mutually beneficial patient referral channel. You will expand our clinic partner referral network, maintain strong relationships with existing partners, improve the experience for partners and referred patients, and co-develop our clinical partnership program. This role requires experience in HIV prevention or care, a passion for PurposeMed's mission, and 5+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or account management. Requirements
- Experience working in HIV prevention or care—representing PurposeMed to partners requires this role to speak credibly and confidently about our services
- A passion for PurposeMed's mission and solving healthcare challenges for underserved communities
- 5+ years experience in a role in partnerships, business development, account management, or community engagement, with a proven track record of success
- Track record of building strong relationships—the ideal candidate will have a history of building relationships anchored in trust, empathy, and collaboration
- Excellent communication—this role will require the ability to listen deeply, understand the needs of clinician partners, and communicate the value of Freddie and Affirming Care’s services in a genuine way
- Tenacity and drive—a strong candidate must be highly self-motivated, persist in the face of challenges, and creatively overcome obstacles with a bias to action
- Strong organization skills—this role will be managing a wide and varied group of clinic partners, with different needs, at various stages of partnership, which requires a methodical approach to build our network, while nurturing existing relationships
- A strategic mindset—this role will need to determine when and how to adapt their approach given the characteristics of a potential partner, to achieve a great outcome. A strong candidate will prioritize where they focus their efforts, weighing effort vs. impact
Responsibilities
- Expand our clinic partner referral channel: Lead our prospecting activities for one major urban centre, including identifying relevant clinics, initiating outreach (virtual and in-person), communicating PurposeMed’s services and the benefits of potential partnership in the context of the clinics’ needs, and supporting new clinics to get set up with referral logistics
- Maintain strong relationships with clinic partners: Manage relationships with our network of clinic partners, through periodic engagement, providing them with performance reporting, updating them on additions or improvements to our services, and whenever possible, finding new ways to provide value to their clinics
- Improving the experience for partners and referred patients: Deeply understand and work to continuously improve the experience of a patient being referred into PurposeMed by their clinic, and the clinic/clinician experience of making a referral. Proactively solicit feedback from clinic partners, and partner with cross-functional teams internally to drive changes
- Co-developing our clinical partnership program: Collaborate with members of our executive team to define a scalable model for growing clinic partnerships across Canada and the USA. This will include (for example) refining the approach and materials we use to engage clinics, defining a scalable account management model, improving tracking and reporting of referrals

- A deep understanding of, or lived experience within, the communities that Freddie serves
- Experience collaborating with clinical services

- Base Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 CAD/year
