Summary

Join 2K as a Senior Manager - Communications Planning and help drive the development of audience-first campaign strategies aligned with business goals. Reporting to the Communications Planning Director, you will execute strategic frameworks, develop creative briefs, and ensure creative and media teams have the necessary insights. This role demands analytical thinking, creative inspiration, strong collaboration, and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations. You will work closely with internal teams, including Creative and Player Services, Business Units, Insights, and Marketing Technology. Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in communications planning, strategy, or media planning (creative agency experience preferred)
  • Experience working at the intersection of creative and media, ensuring alignment between messaging and distribution
  • Strong understanding of audience research tools and the ability to extract insights that inform creative and media strategy
  • Skilled at writing concise, compelling creative briefs that guide great work
  • Strong storytelling skillsβ€”able to translate data and strategy into clear, persuasive narratives
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment with creative, media, insights, and marketing teams
  • Passion for gaming and an interest in understanding gaming culture and consumer behavior
  • Highly adaptable self-starter, eager to contribute and push projects forward in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of integrated communications strategies that align creative and media efforts with business objectives
  • Synthesize audience research using syndicated tools and first-party data to extract insights and inform campaign development
  • Assist in crafting concise, actionable creative briefs that translate strategy into compelling creative direction
  • Stay updated on emerging media trends, competitor strategies, and player behaviors to refine communication plans
  • Help ensure creative and media strategies are aligned for maximum engagement and effectiveness
  • Work closely with creative teams, providing them with audience insights, messaging direction, and strategic support
  • Collaborate with media teams to ensure creative assets are developed in alignment with channel strategies and spend levels
  • Partner with Insights and Marketing Technology teams to refine measurement frameworks and optimize campaign effectiveness
  • Maintain relationships with marketing teams across the organization, ensuring seamless integration of communication strategies
  • Act as a key point of contact for BUs, helping to align campaign requests with strategic goals
  • Assist in crafting persuasive narratives and presentations that communicate complex strategies in a clear, compelling way
  • Support senior leadership in advocating for audience-first, insight-driven marketing approaches
  • Contribute to the evolution of the Communications Planning discipline, helping refine best practices and ways of working

  • The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $114,400 and $169,300 per Year
