Summary
Join Actian as a seasoned customer advocacy leader to launch and scale our global reference program. You will develop the strategy, infrastructure, and execution model for Actian Customers. The objective is to amplify Actian’s message through customer storytelling, peer references, and online reviews. You will manage the pipeline of referenceable customers, partner with various teams (Sales, Customer Success, Product Marketing, AR/PR, Customer Experience), and create customer assets. You will also assess an advocacy tech stack, track program KPIs, and partner on Customer Advisory Board and Executive Briefing programs. Manage 3rd party review sites. Requirements
- 5+ years in B2B customer marketing, advocacy, or reference programs
- Proven success launching global reference initiatives at SaaS or data companies
- Experience with advocacy platforms and CRM tools
- Exceptional storytelling, writing, and interviewing skills
- Comfortable interfacing with C-level customers
- Experience in B2B SaaS marketing or sales
Responsibilities
- Launch and manage Actian’s Customer Advocacy & Reference Program, Actian’s global advocacy program
- Build the infrastructure and processes for a trackable and scalable reference program that includes 1-1 peer references, customer testimonials, and participation in analyst evaluations, webinars, and speaking opportunities
- Manage the pipeline of reference-able customers across industries, geos, and channels
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Product Marketing to identify and activate advocates
- Maintain record of which accounts are reference-able along with details on any restrictions
- Partner with AR/PR to support customer participation in analyst evaluations and customer awards
- Work with Product Marketing on creation and oversight to produce customer assets: videos, stories, testimonials, and more
- Assess an advocacy tech stack (tools tbd)
- Track program KPIs: reference utilization, win rates, influenced revenue, content engagement
- Partner on Customer Advisory Board and Executive Briefing programs
- Manage 3rd party review sites in partnership with Analyst Relations and Customer Experience including Gartner Peer Insights, G2 Crowd, Capterra, and Trust Radius
