Requirements

  • RTR Expertise with O2C Exposure: Proven mastery of Oracle Cloud Financials (GL, FAH, CM, FA) with strong understanding of upstream O2C modules (AR, Collections, CDM) and cross-functional process dependencies
  • Oracle Solution Delivery: At least two full-cycle Oracle RTR implementations, with hands-on experience contributing to or leading O2C-related solutioning
  • Process Leadership: Deep knowledge of period close, intercompany, revenue, invoicing, and collections processes, with a strong grasp of compliance and audit readiness requirements
  • Systems Leadership: Extensive experience leading solution design from discovery through deployment, including documentation, testing, and change management
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Skilled at translating complex business needs into scalable, sustainable system solutions across Finance, Accounting, IT, and Engineering
  • Controls & Compliance: Demonstrated experience designing secure, SOX-compliant systems and supporting least-privilege access models
  • Architecture Experience: Background in RTR solution architecture from consulting and/or in-house roles, with a track record of delivering scalable and well-documented systems
  • Analytical Rigor: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess workflows, identify gaps, and recommend practical, tech-enabled improvements

Responsibilities

  • Own RTR systems strategy and execution, with close integration into O2C workflows (revenue focus)
  • Understand end user perspectives for both Q2C and RTR end to end processes as well as dependent upstream and downstream integrations
  • Be hands-on in delivering RTR solutions while managing a team responsible for both RTR and O2C operations
  • Lead and develop a team of analysts supporting Oracle Cloud applications, Oracle - FAH, Billing Platform, High Radius, Workiva, Floqast, and related applications
  • Drive transformation and scalability of our financial systems ecosystem
  • Act as a bridge between finance, accounting, data engineering, product teams, and more, ensuring aligned delivery
  • Manage and coach a small team of analysts supporting RTR and O2C system operations
  • Provide clear work direction and ensure accountability for high-quality execution across initiatives
  • Actively mentor and coach team members, helping them develop expertise in RTR and O2C domains while fostering cross-functional knowledge and growth
  • Provide oversight across RTR and O2C workflows, ensuring collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and seamless execution
  • Empower the team by assigning ownership and accountability for day-to-day operations and project activities
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment with a focus on technical growth, cross-training, and career development
  • Lead the design and delivery of scalable, compliant RTR solutions across Oracle modules including GL, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Fusion Accounting Hub (FAH)
  • Architect and optimize workflows for close, intercompany, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Translate business needs into system capabilities that improve efficiency, control, and audit readiness
  • Serve as the functional lead and DRI on RTR- and O2C-related initiatives, in partnership with a Project Manager who oversees the full project lifecycle
  • Oversee integrations across RTR and O2C, including systems such as the Billing Platform, FloQast, Workiva, and the Data Warehouse
  • Lead O2C functional areas—order management, invoicing, AR, collections, and credit—ensuring process alignment with RTR and driving operational efficiency
  • Provide strategic direction and coaching to team members supporting O2C and RTR, ensuring high-quality, cross-functional execution
  • Design and implement RTR and O2C processes that are compliant, automated, and audit-ready, reducing manual work, operational risk, and control gaps
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the close cycle, revenue workflows, reconciliations, and reporting, leveraging Oracle and adjacent tools (e.g., FloQast, Workiva, Billing Platform)
  • Partner with Audit, Compliance, and Security stakeholders to enforce least-privilege access models and maintain strong control environments across RTR and O2C
  • Define and maintain the RTR and O2C systems roadmap, ensuring alignment with enterprise finance, compliance, and operational strategies
  • Drive solution planning for initiatives spanning quote-to-cash, billing, collections, intercompany, and financial reporting, in collaboration with team members and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize enhancements and ensure upstream and downstream data flows are accurate, timely, and scalable
  • Partner with IT and Engineering to support secure, performant, and integrated architecture across Oracle and connected platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Data Warehouse, etc.)
  • Contribute to identification and implementation of automation, analytics, and AI-driven solutions that streamline reporting and financial processes
  • Stay current with Oracle’s quarterly updates and industry trends to recommend system innovations
