Requirements

  • Ruby on Rails, Golang, JavaScript/TypeScript
  • AWS Cloud Infrastructure (ECS, EKS)
  • Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
  • Tooling (Datadog, Sentry, Github)
  • Application Networking (CDNs, Fastly, App Mesh, etc.)
  • Vendor relationship and budget management

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers focused on improving the development experience and productivity of engineering at Scribd
  • Lead efforts supporting a broad set of engineers working across multiple platforms & technologies and all of our three product brands
  • Drive technical strategy that balances immediate needs with long-term excellence- Identifying & addressing tooling gaps for development teams at Scribd
  • Lead innovation in developer tooling, including AI-powered advancements
  • Collaborate closely with engineering leaders across Scribd
  • Build and scaling development foundations that power our engineering organization
