Summary

Join Alliance Animal Health as a Senior Manager of Learning and Development! This fully remote, US-based role focuses on elevating the growth and effectiveness of central support teams, Practice Managers, and Client Service Representatives. You will collaborate closely with the Senior Director to execute strategic educational initiatives, design engaging programs tailored to unique role needs, and build blended learning strategies. Responsibilities include leading the design and implementation of learning programs, partnering with internal leaders to identify capability gaps, and developing video learning series and career development programs. You will also oversee program execution, facilitate workshops, measure learning effectiveness, and collaborate cross-functionally. This impactful position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Practice Manager in a veterinary clinic and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of prior experience as a Practice Manager in a veterinary clinic is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel is required

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of learning programs for: Central support staff, Practice Managers (PMs), Client Service Representatives (CSRs)
  • Build and execute blended learning strategies (in-person, virtual, and e-learning) that align with business goals and performance metrics
  • Partner with internal leaders to identify capability gaps and create scalable training solutions that support individual and team growth
  • Develop and manage video learning series, onboarding pathways, and ongoing career development programs for hospital-facing roles
  • Oversee program execution with a strong focus on quality, timelines, and learner engagement
  • Facilitate workshops, webinars, and training sessions as needed
  • Measure learning effectiveness and continuously improve programs based on feedback and outcomes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate learning into the broader organizational strategy

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Learning & Development, with a strong focus on field-based or operational training is highly preferred
  • Understanding of COGS and inventory management is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing training for front-line leaders and customer-facing roles
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in e-learning development tools (e.g., Articulate, Rise, Canva, LMS platforms)
  • Outstanding communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel overnight for in-person training and development sessions
