Senior Manager, Principal Solutions Engineering

Join Wiz, a rapidly growing cloud security company, as a Sydney-based Manager, Principal Solutions Engineering - APJ. You will report to the Director, Principal Solutions Engineering and collaborate with a team focused on understanding customer needs. As a technical leader, you will manage a team of Principal Solutions Engineers, recruit and develop talent, and partner with sales and product teams. You will be a trusted advisor to customers on cloud security across AWS, Azure, and GCP. This role involves driving team accountability and operational excellence. Requirements

• Cloud security experience
• AWS/ Azure/ GCP hands on experience
• Kubernetes and Shift Left developer workflow experience / background
• Strong operating system, virtual machine and container knowledge
• Knowledge of risk-based security assessments and frameworks
• Understanding of cloud identity, access, certificates and keys

Responsibilities

• Partner with the field SE Teams to develop strong working relationships with the account and product teams
• Thrive as a technical leader of the team not only in performing team leadership but also getting your hands into technology
• Be the trusted advisor to your customers for all things related to cloud security across AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Leadership and management of a team of Principal Solutions Engineers
• Recruit, retain, develop and coach a team of regionally focused skilled SEs
• Partner with sales and product groups to drive operational excellence and efficiency
• Drive team accountability to deal management in Salesforce

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with traditional CSPM tools and / or cloud infrastructure security
• Technical SaaS Selling experience
• Awareness of the CI/CD process
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code
